He went to the Magnet Town library.

The library had so many books. It had: a book about the lode stone, and a book about the history of Magnet Town, books on shipping navigation, and a book on metal detecting.

He took the book on Magnet Town’s history because he was curious. So he asked the librarian if he could steal it.

The man said, “Of course not! but you can borrow it.”

So Pencil said, “Fine, I’ll borrow it.”

So he took it and read it.

It said that one day, a ruler invaded Pencil-vania. He was very dangerous. He was ruthless, but he had a vision. He became the ruler of Pencil-vania and built so many villages, then towns, then cities, then states, then countries and Magnet Town is just one of the towns.

Then there is Magnet World, but that’s another story.

He returned the book to the librarian.
