Then it turned into Sad Land because suddenly everything seemed blue and sad. And then a house burned down and the owner got angry then it turned into Angry Land, and everything was red and people started running around like maniacs.

Then one of the people turned huge and people were super-scared then it became Scary Land, but then, people were running around like happy maniacs in a sad city full of scary angry monsters so now it was Emotion Land, the Land of Emotions.

So: the people who were angry, were angry at the people who were sad and the sad people turned happy, and there were so many changes, that they got scared, and that’s why it’s called Emotion Land.

So Pencil thought he should get out of Emotion Land because what if an angry policeman came to him and arrested him for no reason?

So he went back to the portal but the portal wasn’t working.
