“Let us go then, Green Pencil and Eraser, as the evening is spread out against this room like a family of measures etherized upon a bagel. Let us go, through certain half-deserted oh, hmmm. Wait. Umm I, oooooo ooo. Oh yeah: Do not ask what is it, let us go and make our visit. Ok, now I’m done. Ok, that’s it, the end.”
“Who are you?” Eraser asked.
“Oh, I am the alien, you know, that comes from the future.”
“And where are you?” Green Pencil asked.
“Oh, I am hanging from the ceiling.”
So Green Pencil looked up and the alien jumped on him.
“What did you do that for?” Green Pencil asked.
“I was scared because the cream cheese was melting and I didn’t want to hold on and fall. I would rather jump on you, than fall on you!” answered the alien.
“Oh, OK. One more question,” Green Pencil said. “Did you turn us into a mechanical pencil and a mechanical eraser?”
“Yes. Do you like it?” the alien asked. “I put some extra lead in the side pocket and a hidden jet pack on the bottom of your back and the lead in your stomach is 6B. And as for Eraser, he has a special button on his stomach that will instantly make a bunch of little pellets that if you kick them on something they will make that thing disappear. So they are like little eraser pellets that will erase things in real life and of course a jet pack at the bottom of your back. Now, let’s get back to the time machine and get heading back to the end of time or the future or whatever you call it.”
“OK,” said Green Pencil.
So they went back to the time machine.
And got in. And dialed up 2 0 1 5.
