I “moved up” this week to some different teachers, while my previous classmate stayed with our first teacher to review basics. Yesterday was pretty intense, since I am the only student in all my classes (4 hours of one-on-one teaching) and the material was more difficult. However, today my old classmate joined me in the new classes (his teacher was absent), so the material was a bit easier. I’ll be alone again tomorrow, so we’ll see if I’m able to start making more progress.

Here is a picture of some of the exercises we do:

We translated each sentence into Arabic, which required using the correct plural/singular form of the nouns, the correct demonstrative, and the correct ending on the adjective. My homework is to find the two mistakes in this picture, so if you see them, please reply in the comments. Ha ha.

This week is boring in terms of school-organized excursions, because a lot of the study-abroad students have completed their Arabic program and are finishing up other stuff in preparation to return home soon.

In other news, Mogey the stray cat was waiting for me at the front door today and walked right in the house to lead me out the back door, where I could get her more food. I guess she got tired of going around the villa to the back, in this heat.
