Anxiety
- Excessively Worried (overthinking)- overly concerned about normal day-to-day activities
- Sleeplessness- tired, not sleeping due to racing thoughts
- Restlessness- fidgeting, leg shaking
- Nervousness- sweating, trembling, upset stomach
- Unable to concentrate on other things
Autism Spectrum
- Poor eye contact
- Lack of facial expression
- Repetitive movements
- Repeating words or phrases
- Sensitivity to light sound or touch
- Self-harming activities such as head banging or punching
Adjustment Disorder
- Depressed
- Isolated
- Homesick
- Anxiety
- Withdrawal from social activity
- Insomnia
- Loss of appetite
- Low grades

- Be a concerned friend/mentor
- Share positive experiences
- Check in periodically
- Ask how you can help
- Provide campus resources to help them feel more connected
- Offer to walk them to CHPS
- See if they need assistance making an appointment
