Licensing

Navigating licensing can be challenging. However, if you learn a bit about the basics you will be better able to make informed decisions when selecting materials for your class. In this module you will learn how to do the following:

  • Distinguish between various forms of protected and open licenses
  • Recognize the different Creative Commons Licenses, their uses, and limitations
  • Apply proper attribution to a Creative Commons work
  • Apply an open license to your own work
