Sarah O’Byrne’s love for copyright began in law school, where she took an introductory intellectual property course with a section on copyright law.   From there she decided that she wanted to try and work as exclusively as possible in this area of law. From 2013 Sarah has worked as McMaster University’s legal counsel for copyright, assisting the McMaster staff, students and faculty with all matters related to copyright law and compliance.  She completed her Master of Laws in Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law in 2014.
