Welcome to Reading, Writing, and Thinking in the College Classroom:  An Educator’s Guide.  This handbook is a compilation of research, conversations and curriculum development in the English Department and Integrated Reading and Writing program at Austin Community College in Austin, Texas.  We designed the chapters in this text to assist college professors who teach the ENGL 1301 and INRW 0340 co-requisite pairs and provide a general guide for instructors who are new to the concept of co-requisite courses.  As our department culture continues to evolve, we hope to house additional materials and videos to complement this foundation.
