Your DHI Thesis will occupy many weeks, maybe even months, over the next year. Before you begin, reflect on what you have done during your college career. What type of learning do you find rewarding? What do you want to know more about? What are your goals for the future and what do you need to get there?
The DHI Thesis can serve different purposes for different students. It could be an opportunity to conduct research in your discipline, to undertake an original, interdisciplinary project, to make an impact in the community, or to establish a professional voice.
Consider the following questions as you think back on your education in and out of the classroom:
- What have you already accomplished?
- What are you curious about?
- What do you want to contribute?
- What experience do you want to gain?
