About this Book
About this Book
The goal of this OER is to support students who wish to become early childhood educators and increase their knowledge of the theory and practices of the profession.
This version is adapted from “Principles and Practices of Teaching Young Children,” an Open Educational Resources Publication by College of the Canyons, in California. It was revised and remixed to include content specific to those studying in Pennsylvania.
The original text was created by Cindy Stephens, Gina Peterson, and Sharon Eyrich, with contributions by Nikki Savage. It was Peer Reviewed by Jennifer Paris, edited by Alexa Johnson and Jennifer Paris and the graphics are by Trudi Radtke. Thank you, College of the Canyon faculty, for your diligence in creating the text.
