85 Chapitre 17 : LA PRIÈRE ALMA REDEMPTORIS

Augustous Mother of the Redeemer, Gate of Heaven always open, Star of the Sea, come to the aid of the people who fall and seek to rise again. Thou who, by a prodigy which astonishes nature, gave birth to thy Creator, without ceasing to be a virgin, thou who hast received this glorious salutation from the Angel Gabriel, deign to have mercy on us sinners. Thou didst remain spotless after thy birth, O holy Virgin. Mother of God, intercede for us. Let us pray to God, who, by making the virginity of the blessed Mary fruitful, assured eternal salvation to the human race, may we by your grace experience how powerful is the intercession of her through whom we have received the Author of life, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. O Mary Gate of Heaven, pray for us.
