Says the IG report on him was put together in a very strange, unprofessional way. Is currently suing the FBI. For this reason his book seems to bury the lead on many levels. The biggest stories have mostly been things he revealed in interviews rather than the book itself.

Though the timeline in the book does suggest that the decision to fire him was instigated by Trump and only after he corroborated Comey’s version of events around the Comey firing.
