This is the assessment of Charles Tawl who Papadopoulos has been running around claiming had somehow forced him to take $10,000 dollars from him. Papadopoulos was making a lot of noise about showing evidence of this to Congress but at this point he’d better hurry up as the Democrats will be there in under two months.

UPDATE: Yet another one of the very much glorified Coffee Boy’s deleted tweets.

UPDATE 2.0: Here is the Coffee Boy’s testimony to the then still GOP Congress. Notice the only stuff that ever seems to get out is what the GOP wants us to see-right now as we see in Chapter A Coverup Bill Barr is still trying to redact the embarrassing parts for Trump before making the Mueller report public.

But he sent that before the Dems took back Congress. As for this idea that Tawil gave him $10,000 dollars against his will, it doesn’t pass the laugh test.

For some sort of sweetheart $350 billion dollar arms deal the RussiaHouse had with the Saudis.

UPDATE 3.0: No, Ari Melber failed to mention this in his very friendly interview with the Coffee Boy last night this week. Melber also utterly failed to push him on-I’m going to push you on that is one of Ari’s favorite phrases-Jason Wilson who as we saw in Chapter A asserts Papadopoulos told him that he did in fact tell Jeff Sessions about the emails Mifsud had told him about.

Although Melber was able to get a rather stunning admission that not only did George and his wife Simona ‘just happen to’ both know Mifsud before they met but he is the reason they met. Papadopoulos states that he met her at the European Parliament and asked her about Mifsud. While Melber may deserve credit for this scoop-it’s not clear he anywhere near appreciates what a stunning revelation that really is.

Melber also failed to push Papadopoulos on the fact the email he sent to Sergey Milian in December, 2016 about a deal the Coffee Boy was doing with the Russians that would set me up for life.

The memo sent to Congressman Adam Schiff by a former confidant of Papadopoulos on November 19, as first reported by this reporter and Natasha Bertrand of the Atlantic, made a series of allegations against the ex-Trump campaign adviser. First and foremost, the letter claimed that in December 2016, Papadopoulos said “that he was doing a business deal with Russians which would result in large financial gain for himself and Mr. Trump. Mr. Papadopoulos told me that this deal with Russians would set him up for life.” The author also says that (s)he witnessed a phone call between Trump and Papadopoulos. None of the claims have been substantiated, though Congress plans to dig into the specific allegations.”

Ari Melber sure wasn’t interested. He was more interested in throwing softballs to the Coffee Boy about ‘vindication of the President.’

Will any of this be in the redacted mess Coverup Bill Bar plans to release in mid April-assuming the Democrats don’t subpoena him as they should? There’s actually an FBI investigation into this email by Papadooulos-but as it’s not about Hillary Clinton maybe we will never hear anything about it again-kind of like the IG’s investigation into the leaks by the anti Clinton pro Trump rogue agents at the FBI just before the election.

Tawil himself shakes his head at whatpathetic liar Papadopoulos is:

Mr. Tawil previously denied the accusations of his affiliation with western intelligence agencies but with recent inflammatory comments by Mr. Papadopoulos, including an offer to Congress to inspect the $10,000 in the belief that it would lead back to the Obama administration, Mr. Tawil struck a more direct tone in an exclusive interview with this reporter.

“The guy is a pathetic liar” Mr. Tawil said of Mr. Papadopoulos. “I met him when he was out of a job and offered him a job and gave him, on his demand, a loan, cash as he requested because he did not have an account in Europe.”

“He mentioned that I am working with Mossad or the FBI or some crap like this. He is a lunatic”

A lunatic that Ari Melber treated with great respect-I guess now that Trump is ‘vindicated’ and is innocent everyone in TrumpWorld is the same right? Maybe Manafort should be released as there was nothing there. Bob Barr says so.

Yes I’m being sardonic but this the canard Melber and friends have setup.

“The $10,000, per Mr. Tawil, was a loan on the request of Mr. Papadopoulos who was seeking to extend his European pre-honeymoon with his new wife, Simona Mangiante. Mr. Papadopoulos has previously stated that the payment was insisted upon by Mr. Tawil, a claim that the Israeli-American denies vehemently.”

I mean someone forces $10,000 on you against your will? Happens to me every day…

The modus operandi of the traitorous Coffee Boy seems to be to in a purely ad hominem way foment conspiracy theories-Mifsud’s allegedly a Western agent-though Mifsud’s old lawyer Stephen Roh argued the same about Papadopoulos.

Mr. Tawil continued, “I have copies of emails and WhatsApp communication with George that can prove that he is a liar. Instead of thanking me, he is trying to drag me in his mud.”

He finished his denial by stating, “He is coward and a liar and probably other things too.” Sarcastically at the end of the conversation, Mr. Tawil said, “Oh and I am not a secret agent.”

UPDATE 4.0: The Democrats ought to have him testify regarding Papadopoulos–it goes without saying they should also have Jason Wilson. So far there’s been one public hearing since the Dems have taken over. For comparison sake the GOP impeached Clinton during their lame duck at the end of 1998.

Over email Mr. Tawil explained his preference for Mr. Trump over Mrs. Clinton for what he called “the disaster she brought on Africa and Middle East and Ukraine and many places.” To suggest that he was part of a plot to hurt the Trump campaign given his strong support for Mr. Trump is unimaginable in his view.

It seems Papadopoulos is trying to throw everything he-or his wife-can imagine at the wall and see what sticks.

The reporter of the above linked piece, Scott Stedman had a second interview which confirmed that Papadopoulos was who sought out the money:

“David Ha’ivri, an Israeli political strategist and member of the Shomron Regional Council, in a separate exclusive interview advised that not only did he introduce Papadopoulos and Tawil, he confirmed Papadopoulos was the one who requested the funds.”

“Ha’ivri, having known Tawil for 10 years, described him as a “regular guy building connections and business consulting.” “I’m sure American law enforcement agencies know this whole conspiracy story is bogus, just Papadopoulos’ efforts to throw a smoke screen with crazy conspiracy theories. They know Charles has no connection to any intelligence agencies.”

Ha’ivri remembered “reading articles with Papadopoulos as someone who was in the inner circle of the Trump Campaign”, so he reached out to Papadopoulos by contacting him via LinkedIn around December 2016, according to his recollection.

The two were able to arrange a meeting between Papadopoulos and Yossi Dagan during the Trump Inauguration in Washington D.C. as Ha’ivri viewed it as, “a great opportunity for our leadership to be closer to the Trump inner circle.”

As for the cash payment, Ha’ivri said “The $10,000 was totally innocent. Papadopoulos making this into a conspiracy theory is so ungrateful and obnoxious. Charles tried to set him up for work. He asked for a loan, Charles helped him and he took the money.”

Add Tawill to the many folks with suspicions regarding Papadopoulos’ wife-the money was so George and her could go on vacation.

Mr. Tawil also raised concerns, entirely unprompted, about Mr. Papadopoulos’s wife, Simona Mangiante. Mr. Tawil and the couple met in the Mykonos in 2017 shortly before the payment occurred. “She has a very shady past,” Mr. Tawil said. “She did not have a salary yet she lived in a $1.5 million apartment in London?”

“When I joked with her that Neapolitans are very rarely blond she smiled and told me that her dad was Swiss,” Mr. Tawil said, recounting a conversation from mid-2017.

“I’ve met her parents,” Mr. Papadopoulos recently stated in an interview with Dan Bongino, a conservative commentator and conspiracy theorist. “They’re the most Italian people you can possibly imagine.”

UPDATE 5.0: She has a very shady past. And she met George through Mifsud. She also told Ari they plan to name their son Joseph Mifsud.

Mr. Papadopoulos did not return a request for comment about Mr. Tawil’s assertions.

Papadopoulos has shown this pattern of talking a very big game on Twitter-willing to talk to anyone anywhere on the ‘real conspiracy’ but then singing a different tune when presented with his chance. After all his big talk he asked for immunity to speak to the Senate and while the House GOP took him up on his offer to prove the ‘real conspiracy’ was the British framing him because he insulted David Cameron it was behind closed doors-which tells you he didn’t have the goods and what he said at least in context would not be helpful for Trump and his GOP co-conspirators.

He’s likening himself to Atlas…

With his claims that what he can reveal will bust the Mueller probe right open he will get his chance to prove to the country soon when the Dems subpoena him to testify publicly next year.

UPDATE 5.0: Another redacted tweet. Sure he has nothing to hide.

As  Maddow says Watch this space, indeed.

It’s not hard to see how Papadopoulos ended up being charged for perjury.
