Том: Оди́н биле́т на рейс из Москвы́ до Вашингто́на, США, пожа́луйста. – Adeen beelet na reys eez Maskvy da Vashinktona, SSHA, pazhaloosta. – One ticket for a flight from Moscow to Washington, D.C., USA, please.
Касси́р: На когда́? – Nakagda? – (For) when?
Том: На восьмо́е ма́рта, пожа́луйста. – Na vas’moye marta, pazhaloosta. – For the eighth of March, please.
Касси́р: В одну́ сто́рону и́ли в обе стороны́? – Vadnoo storanoo eelee vobye storany? – One way or both ways?
Том: В одну́, пожа́луйста. Ско́лько с меня́? – Vadnoo, pazhaloosta. Skol’ka smenya? – How much is that? (lit. How much from me?)
Касси́р: С вас 2000 до́лларов, пожа́луйста. – Svas dvye tysyachee, pazhaloosta. – That’ll be $2,000, please. (lit. From you (formal) 2000 dollars, please.)
Том: Ка́ртой? – Kartay? – (Can I pay with) a credit card? (lit. By a credit card?)
Касси́р: Да, пожа́луйста. – Da, pazhaloosta. – Yes, please.
Том: Вот ка́рта. – Vot karta. – Here’s the card.
Касси́р: Спаси́бо. Ва́ше и́мя и фами́лия. – Spasiba. Vashe eemya ee fameeleeya. – Thank you. Your first and last name.
Том: Том А́ндерсон – Tom Andersan – Tom Anderson.
