Mr. Tran Quang Tien holds a Bachelor’s degree in international economics from Foreign Trade University in Vietnam and a Master’s degree in Economic Management from the National Economics University in Vietnam. He also completed a short-term postgraduate program at the University of Bradford, UK, focusing on the development of transportation infrastructure systems. Mr. Tien is currently the Head of the Department of International Development Banks in the International Cooperation Department at the State Bank of Vietnam. He has extensive experience in international banking and development, having worked with major international financial institutions such as the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, and Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank. His expertise includes overseeing funding activities for green finance and financial inclusion, and developing projects to support the banking industry in Vietnam. Mr. Tien’s career spans over 25 years in various roles within the banking sector, showcasing his commitment to Vietnam’s economic development and international cooperation.
