Citing Information

What to Do

Cite any sources as meaningful hyperlinks embedded directly into your content. You do not NEED to research for this assignment as you can pick topics you already know/describe them based on your experiences and knowledge set.

I’m not worried about or looking for citations on this project. I don’t expect a high need for you to conduct research, and the skillset we focus on is describing information. You should do your best to obtain all the information and not need external sources (take measurements, photographs, etc). The information you provide is also inherent to the object, product, and process you select. It is obvious the information is coming from the manufacturer of those items–citations are helpful in clarifying where the information originated–which the reader already knows.

Lastly, in the scenario provided, you are creating an internal, small-scale document that provides no public-facing or commercial value (so copyright is not a big concern here). Use any citations to help your new employees understand or access information as you deem appropriate.
