Analyzing Data Defenders
Have students access the student chapter Analyzing Data Defenders and analyze the game using the Structure Strip. (If students originally played the game in groups or pairs, you may wish to have them complete this activity in the same groups or pairs.)
When students have finished, ask them to share their analysis.
- How did the game work as a game? (Make sure to highlight that the game did not tell you about the Privacy Score until after the first round. How did students feel when they learned they had been being scored without knowing it?)
- What about the game made it work well as an educational game?
- What made it work less well?
- Did it work better for some of the missions’ topics than others? If so, which ones?
