Analyzing the Jos

Once you have completed one or more of the A Day in the Life of the Jos lessons, have  students access the student chapter Analyzing the Jos and complete the analysis activity. (This can be done individually, in pairs or in small groups.)

When students have finished, ask them to share their analysis.

  • How did the game work as a game? (Make sure to highlight that most ofthe questions did not have just one right and one wrong answer, but often a “bad”answer, a “good” answer and a “best” answer.)
  • What about the game made it work well as an educational game?
  • What made it work less well?
  • Did it work better for some topics than others? If so, which ones?
