Making an Information Verification Game

Have students access the student chapter Making an Information Verification Game and tell them that they will be designing a game that teaches the information verification skills they have learned in this lesson. (You may choose to have them do this individually, in pairs or in small groups.)

Explain that it should not teach the same specific content (the scenarios, questions and answers) but the essential skills and knowledge they learned from the game.

Have them use the interactive activity to design their game.

Depending on time and resources available, you may choose to have them make a prototype of the game and assess it with the Game Prototype Assessment Rubric, or just submit their game design and assess it with the Game Concept Assessment Rubric.
