Remixing Diversity
Have students access the student chapter Remixing Diversity and go through it with the class. Refer to the discussion earlier in the lesson to provide examples of how a game’s affordances and defaults might affect how it acts as a window or mirror to different groups or identities, then have students use the assignment sheet to analyze and remix an existing game.
