Sharing Your Story

Start by asking students to think about the following questions:

• How do you decide whether it’s okay to share something you made online?
• How could sharing what you made affect your privacy?
• Does it matter which app or platform you use to share it?

Next, have students access the student chapter Sharing Your Story. Have them watch the video, then think about something they have made recently (a video, a social network post, etc.) and answer the questions in the interactive activity.

When students have finished the activity, ask them if doing it made them change how they feel about anything they have posted or shared recently.
