Toy Story: Black Friday

This video is an animatic – a series of sketches made after the voice tracks for an animated film are recorded. The purpose of an animatic is to work out the key shots and the timing of each scene.

If the animatic is approved, the next step is full animation. If it isn’t, it’s “back to the drawing board” – which may include re-writing and re-recording the voice tracks.
