In this lesson, students learn how to think about the impact of sharing content online. The consider the effects sharing online content might have on others and then analyze different platforms to identify the risks and tools available for controlling who can see what you post.

Note: This unit is designed to prepare students to make good choices when sharing their and others’ content online. The first two activities can be delivered on their own, or all three activities can be integrated into any unit where students create content that might be published.
Preparation:
