- NOTES: When Martin Dietrich Miesner was born on December 2, 1876, in Missouri, his father, Johann, was 51 and his mother, Maria, was 35. He married Clara Matilda Heins on September 23, 1900, in Altenburg, Missouri. They had six children in 13 years. He died on October 28, 1964, in Alameda, California, at the age of 87.
