Guest Blogs

One of the benefits of the CCCOER guest blog is the opportunity for members to share experiences and perspectives from the innovative work they’re doing at their institution or organization. Blog topics cover a variety of subjects, but some examples include:

  • open education news
  • best practices for open education
  • member projects
  • highlights from conferences
  • perspectives from the field

Some examples of recent guest blog posts include Free Like Puppies: A Guide to Making Ed Tech Decisions by Quill West, Open Content; Closed File by Kelsey Smith, and Georgia Offers New Statewide Faculty OER Training by Nikki Stubbs.

If you are interested in sharing information about an OER project at your institution, your experiences at an open education conference, or your perspectives and knowledge on other open education topics, please use this form CCCOER Blog Topic Suggestions. We also welcome blog topics you would like to read about even if you are unable to contribute the post yourself.

Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Blog Series

CCCOER’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion blog series is a call to action and has featured many open-education-thought leaders over the years on how open education can support equity, diversity, and inclusion in pedagogy, institutional policies, and out in the community. We want to hear from our members about how you’re addressing EDI at your campus and community.  If you would be interested in contributing to this blog series, or have a suggestion for a post, please fill out our form for CCCOER Blog Topic Suggestions, and select “Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion” as the category.
