The listserv’s archives and index of shared OER are available to the public. However, if you want to join the listserv and post, then you need to be a member of the email list. As mentioned before, the listserv focuses on community colleges in North America and is open to all college-level educators. Due to problems with spammers, we now require people to apply to be on the listserv by filling out a Google form. This prevents spambots from adding themselves and allows us to weed out vendors. In addition to your name and email, we also require the name of your college/institution, and we ask that you tell us your position and discipline. Since this is a large group, we don’t get to know everyone, and this helps us to understand who is in our group.

To fill out an application, go back to the Community Email page on our website, and click “Join Email Group.” This will take you directly to the Google Form. Since we add people to the list manually, please allow a few days for your application to be processed.
