This open educational resource was created with the collaboration and efforts of faculty from the Texas A&M University College of Nursing and the Texas A&M Library Services. The hope for this text and resource is to reduce cost to the learner in a specialty pre-licensure course where an active teaching model is being implemented. Supplemental items are introduced within the classroom setting to engage and interact with the learner to help develop their clinical judgement skills and assimilation of knowledge to safe practice.
