This course text was written for faculty interested in Open Educational Resource (OER) adoption. The content serves as an introduction to the concept of “open” in education and provides resources for successful adoption and implementation. Topics include, understanding the open license, locating openly licensed materials that support measurable learning objectives, and how to attribute sources.
This resource was created by Jessica Young, Assistant Director of Distributed Learning at Frederick Community College.
