2. Billy Courter was a cousin of Arno and Audrey Lee Lindorfer and not a grandchild of William and Mary. The Courter family lived nearby and was included in family get togethers.

The Brunken farm near Lahoma served as a convenient location for family gatherings as it was somewhat central to where the Brunken children families were living – Hilda and Mildred in Alva, Alvin in Covington and then Oklahoma City, Leona in Enid and then Blackwell.
