OBITUARY
Leona Alberta, daughter of Henry and Julia Oelarking, was born April 22, 1914, near Lahoma and passed away January 14, 1973, in Enid at the age of 53 years, 6 months and 22 days.
Miss Oelerking was married to Harold Brunken on May 9, 1943, at Lahoma.
She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Lahoma, and the Ladies Aid Society. She taught Saturday Church School and also a Sunday School Class for many years.
Mrs. Brunken was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister. Leona is survived by her husband, Harold; one son, Delane, Harveyville, Kans.; two daughters, Glenda Dixon, Harveyville, Kans., Lavila Smith, Lahoma; one brother, Fred Gelarking, Wells, Minn.; one sister, Emma Rathien, Enid; one grandchild, Michael Smith; a number of other relatives and a host of friends.

MRS. HAROLD BRUNKEN
Mrs. Harold Brunken of Lahoma, 58, died early Sunday in an Enid hospital following an illness of two years. Her funeral rites will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Zion Lutheran Church at Lahoma with Pastor William K. Hannusch officiating. Interment will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery, under the direction of the Fossett Funeral Home.
The body will lie In state In the chapel of the funeral home until 12:15 p.m. Wednesday and in the Zion Lutheran Church from 1 p.m. until service time. The casket will not be opened at the close of the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Cancer Division, in memory of Mrs. Brunken. The Zion Lutheran Church or the Fossett Funeral Home will accept the memorials.
Mrs. Brunken was born on a farm southeast of Lahoma April 22. 1914, and had lived her entire life in this area. She graduated from Lahoma High School and was married to Harold Brunken May 9, 1943, at Lahoma. He survives, as does a son, Delane Brunken of Harveyville. Kan.; two daughters. Mrs. Gary (Glenda) Dixon of Harveyville and Mrs. David (Lavila) Smith of Lahoma; a brother. Fred Oelerking of Wells, Minn.; a sister. Mrs. Emma Rathje,. Enid; one grandchild, Michael Smith of Lahoma. Two brothers, a sister and her parents preceded her in death.
Mrs . Brunken was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and had taught Saturday Church School for many years. She also taught a Sunday School Class and was a member of the Ladies Aid.
