“APA, MLA, yikes! What are the differences? Am I using the correct formatting?” These may be questions that you have. There is help available to answer these and many more questions. OSU has a great resource for eCampus users: Online Tutoring. This site covers a variety of subjects, has great hours of services, and will even provide you alternatives.

Having issues with a specific subject? NetTutor is the free support service where you can connect to a live tutor, submit a question for a response, and also have an archive of your session to reference at a later date.

How do I get there?

  • Go to the following website: http://ecampus.oregonstate.edu/services/student-services/online-tutoring/

OR

  • If you are logged into your Canvas account you will see a link on the left side: NetTutor

Then you will choose your subject from the list above. **Special note here, use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox if possible, this program doesn’t work well with Internet Explorer.

Once you have chosen your topic there are help links through out in case you need more assistance.

Hours:

Live Tutoring: English and Writing or Mathematics; Statistics – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week                                                      **All other subjects, please check the Live Tutoring Schedule by clicking the calendar icon on the NetTutor Dashboard header.

Question Submission / Online Writing Center – All Subjects: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Prescheduled Sessions – Subjects and times available upon request

Academic Resources & Archives -24 hours a day, 7 days a week
