There are no modern parallels to the Covid-19 crisis. The public health, social, economic, and psychological impacts are like nothing else in our lifetimes, and they have brought about changes for which the world was entirely unprepared. It is to these conditions non-profits have had  to adapt, responding to increases and shifts in demand with limited information, resources, and options.

The creativity many non-profits have displayed during this pandemic has been nothing short of amazing. They have ably adapted to their clients’ needs while facing significant budget constraints, adhering to strict safety requirements, and workforce changes that have been essentially forced upon them. And they have done this with little guidance—they have been driven their own ingenuity and efforts.

This document, and the live series on which is it based, is for all non-profits. It is designed to help them understand the implications of their actions, and help them think about key factors from a strategic perspective. While organizations have changed their approaches by now, there is time to evaluate key decisions, make informed adaptations, and position themselves for stronger futures.
