Learning Outcomes

3. Use measuring and testing instruments.

4. Describe the use and care of live line tools.

5. Describe the use and care of climbing equipment.

Course Hours

This course will include 12h of instructional time.

Assessment

This course will be graded on a pass/fail basis based on the results of the final exam.

Course Description

This course outlines the key topics you would be exposed to in a formal apprenticeship program. These topics include hand tools as well has specialized tools for handling energized equipment. Throughout the course, you will encounter review questions and tests. There will be in class demonstrations of smaller tools and equipment.
