Course Description and Rationale

This course will cover various safety and safe work practices.

Learning Outcomes

1. Apply safety regulations

2. Use trade specific PPE

3. Identify powerline hazards and risk mitigation

4. Describe environmental hazards

5. Describe safety certifications required to work as a PLT apprentice

Course Hours

This course will include 21 hours of instruction.

Assessment

This course will be assessed based on participation and a culminative exam. It will be pass/fail.
