The DublinBy.bike web project was born out of a love of cycling, and of Dublin, and of sitting in pubs talking about cycling and Dublin. Its intention is to encourage both visitor and resident alike to jump on a bike and explore the city, its history, its character and its spectacular landscape, and share their experience for others to follow. Uniquely, Dublin’s greatly varied terrain affords a cycling microcosm. Anyone from a biking novice to Grand Tour veteran, can find a route that challenges and rewards in equal measure, hopefully without too much huffing and puffing before pausing to enjoy an inspiring sight, and where your next pint of Guinness never too far away.
