The second block of the BBA degree plan is the lower-level business core. It consists of six courses for a total of 17 hours.^[1]

The lower-level core is pretty straight-forward. There is an issue with BUSI 2345. Here are the details:

Transferring in TCCN BCIS 1305

Notice the comment for BUSI 2345. BCIS 1305 is part of the business FoS, which means that if someone transfers it in, we must accept it in the degree plan somewhere. We have two options for that. The student can either

• use BCIS 1305 in place of BUSI 2345 or
• use BCIS 1305 in place of an upper-level business elective and take BUSI 2345.

It really all depends on if the student wants to take our spreadsheets class, BUSI 2345, enough to lose an upper-level business elective to BCIS 1305. The BBA degree plan allows a student up to six hours of lower-level courses in lieu of upper-level courses. The only way we allow that to happen is (a) if the student transfers in a lower-level business law course, TCCN BUSI 2301, and (b) transfers in BCIS 1305 and wants to use it for a business elective, so that the student can also take BUSI 2345.
