The idea for the Teaching Hub just came to us when Fleming’s Vice President Academic Judith Limkilde thought the idea up herself and then told us all about it. It is a place where we (we as in all of us at Fleming, facilitated by the Learning Design & Support Team), communicate about Teaching & Learning at Fleming in a web-based & weekly format,. We try to choose timely topics, and always in these categories:

· Engaging Teaching
· Learning Technology
· Policies & Procedures
· College Departments
· Services for Students

Now, as one of the top two Learning Technology Specialists at Fleming College, it is clear to me that Learning Technology is the most important, interesting, and worthy category. However, we also talk about those other things.
