Ask Yourself: Six Views

Before you go to the next lesson, evaluate your own work in this lesson.

Focus first on the three goals you set for yourself, commenting on this question: Have I made progress on my three writing goals – why or why not?

Although you might be tempted to change the goals you began with, it’s best to evaluate your progress on the same three goals throughout. If you’re working on the lessons with a writing group, consider discussing your evaluations together.

Respond to the main self-evaluation question.

Then come up with another open-ended question to ask yourself. You’re welcome to respond to one of the possible questions in the box below.

Suggested Time: 5 minutes (at least two sentences)
