Subject: the performer of the action
Reflexive: an action performed on oneself
Direct object: the thing/person receiving the action of the verb
Indirect object: the person receiving the direct object
Disjuntive: a pronoun used after a preposition e.g. a, con, de etc. (mí and ti are not used with entre, excepto and según)
Normally, object and reflexive pronouns precede the conjugated verbs.
But if an infinitive, a present participle (-ando/-iendo) or an affirmative command is involved, you can attach the pronouns behind the infinitive, the present participle or the command.
Exercises
Ej.1 Cambia las frases según las indicaciones.
- Las sillas son para ellos. (for him, her, me, us, you – polite plural)
- Va de compras conmigo. (with you – a friend, her, them, you – friends)
- Siempre hablan de mí. (about him, her, you – a friend, it –masculine, them)
- Entramos en ellos (them – feminine, it – feminine)
- El tren salió sin nosotros. (without them, him, her, me).
