Usage

Dijo que vendría. (= que iba a venir) Todo el mundo imaginaba que diría eso. (= que va a decir..) Le preguntó si tomaría café. (= si iba a tomar ..) Les encerraron allí, de donde ya no saldrían. (= no iban a salir) |

Conjugation
The stem of the conditional tense, like the future tense, is the whole infinitive: ser → sería; ir → iría; vivir → viviría.
The endings are the same for verbs in –ar, -er and –ir.

Irregular verbs and derivatives
The list of the irregular conditional tense is the same as that in the future tense. The stems are shwon below.
Remember to add the appropriate ending. eg: haría, harías, haría, haríamos etc

The compound verbs of decir are regular: bendeciría, maldeciría, predeciría
