8 Interrogatives
Interrogatives
Interrogatives are words like “what?”, “who” and “when?” used for forming questions. They always have an accent in Spanish, even if the question is indirect.

Note:
If there is a preposition, it must go before the interrogative pronoun. It is not possible to end a question with a preposition as in English. Examples:
¿Con quién fuiste de vacaciones? Whom did you go on holiday with?
¿Para qué sirve? What is it for?
