Book Description: The Nogdawindamin Family and Community Services Cultural Safety Trauma Informed Pathway is a training that discusses reconciliation and the healing that is needed to strengthen relationships in the context of Indigenous Child Welfare along the North Shore of Lake Huron. This Workbook walks through a pathway, exploring each 13 bundles (modules) and relevant Indigenous traditional knowledge, unpacking the Canadian narrative and looking at the true history from a cause and effect context. The goal is intended to encourage consist self-reflection of perception, privilege & power and purpose as it applies to delivering Social Services to Anishinaabe communities.
