During two consecutive years in the early 90s, the Zion Lutheran Church – Alva put on a magnificent program called Market Place 29 A.D.. The educational wing was decorated like a street or market place in the time of Our Lord, and members of the congregation dressed up and acted the parts of common folk from that day to give people a taste of what life might have been like when our Lord was ministering.[1]
