The purpose of this chapter is to add the extra topics in University of Manitoba’s Math 1700 not covered in the Open Stax Calculus Volume 2 book. These sections were slightly modified from the Open Stax Calculus Volume 1 book.

The extra topics are

Section 0.1 – Inverse Functions (originally section 1.4 in Calculus Volume 1)’

Section 0.2 – Derivatives of Inverse Functions (originally section 3.7 in Calculus Volume 1)

Section 0.3 –  L’Hôpital’s Rule (originally section 4.8 in Calculus Volume 1)
