Single Waler System of Wall Forming
Topic 3 – Single Waler System of Wall Forming
Walers are horizontal members used to brace the form panels. The material can be wood or metal and will vary by manufacturer. Strongbacks are vertical supports that reinforce the walers and tie the form system together. Most hardware components will use a locking or wedge mechanism.
