We all need energy and enthusiasm for our work. If you are seeking ways to improve your leadership skills or wanting a new perspective on ideas that can be dusted off and used tomorrow, we all sincerely hope this book of essays was useful for you.

As a leader, your sense of awareness is one of your most valuable assets.

You have to focus on the strategic plan when the rest of the team might concentrate on their day-to-day tasks.  You have to put your attention on developing leadership and teams even when there is a crisis, to prevent future disasters.

What holds your attention will drive your outcomes.

The art and science of leadership are part of a journey;  A journey we are taking together to build the relationships that matter. Just as nourishing our bodies with food, we need the nourishments of leadership skills to build relationships and provide intentional and engaging work to grow our own leadership toolbox.

Our hope is that this book has helped you identify ways that you can influence through times of change in your organizations. We appreciate you taking the time to read our stories and to reflect on the ways in which you can transform your classrooms and your organization through the practices we shared throughout this book. May your leadership be nourished, along with those you lead.
