Erling Rasmussen is the Professor of Work and Employment at Auckland University of Technology (AUT). He has worked in employment relations for over 40 years and is currently involved in research projects on topics such as employment relations in the hospitality industry, conflict management and resolution, labour market adjustments and comparative employment relations. He has worked in the private sector in the United Kingdom and has been a government policy advisor in New Zealand. Erling has been an academic researcher in several OECD countries.

Felicity Lamm is currently an Associate Professor and the inaugural Co-Director of the Centre for Occupational Health and Safety Research at the Auckland University of Technology (AUT). In 2018, she was also appointed the Chief Advisor on Occupational Health and Safety for the New Zealand Government. She has been teaching and researching in the areas of employment relations and occupational health and safety (OHS) for over 30 years. She has written extensively on these subjects, including research reports for New Zealand and overseas public and private sector organisations. Over the years, Dr Lamm has been appointed to numerous governmental inquiries and advisory committees in New Zealand and internationally.

Julienne Molineaux (PhD) is a political scientist in the School of Social Science and Public Policy at Auckland University of Technology (AUT). She is a former executive member of the New Zealand Political Studies Association and former Director of The Policy Observatory. Julienne is currently an Associate Editor of the New Zealand Journal of Employment Relations. Her interest in employment relations focuses on politics and public policy, which she co-writes about for the Journal.

Gemma Piercy-Cameron (PhD) is a lecturer in Social Policy at the University of Waikato in Aotearoa New Zealand. Her research interests include: employment relations and tertiary/adult education and training, the role of unions, the changing nature of work, work identities and craft. She has published several articles and book chapters investigating the apprenticeship systems in New Zealand, Australia and Britain. Gemma is currently researching public policy transfer, new work identities and the post-2018 reform of New Zealand’s vocational education and training system.

Michael Fletcher (PhD) is a Senior Research Fellow in the Institute for Governance and Policy Studies at Te Herenga Waka, Victoria University of Wellington. Prior to academic life, Michael worked for many years as a researcher, policy advisor and manager in various New Zealand government agencies, including the Department of Labour, the Families Commission and the Ministry for Social Development, working mostly on labour market and social policy topics. His current research interests centre around welfare policy, employment and family policies. In 2018-19 Michael was appointed as the independent advisor to the Welfare Expert Advisory Group. He is also the New Zealand Correspondent for the Max Planck Institute for Social Law and Social Policy in Munich, Germany.
