As a Bucknell student, you are bound to uphold our shared values of academic responsibility. Citing your sources is vital for all of us as members of a scholarly community.  Attributing and documenting your sources gives credit to the authors whose work you’ve consulted.  It helps your readers track your sources, and provides evidence for your arguments.

Attributing and documenting your sources demonstrates the authenticity of your information and recognizes the intellectual property of the authors’ works you used.  Ask a librarian if you need help!
