Organizational readiness for change is an important factor in successful implementation of interventions (Shea et al., 2014).
Ask the following questions about possible intervention sites:
- Are we committed to implementing this change?
- Are we determined to implement this change?
- Are we motivated to implement this change?
- Do we want to implement this change?
- Can we manage the politics of implementing this change?
- Can we support people as they adjust to this change?
- Can we coordinate tasks so that implementation goes smoothly?
- Can we keep track of progress in implementing this change?
- Can we handle the challenges that might arise in implementing this change?
