1. Describe your style of taking notes. Describe your method of reviewing material and locating an idea in your notes. Is it effective? How can you improve your note-taking skills?
  2. Describe a time when you had difficult or challenging material to understand. What did you do to make it easier to understand? Were you successful? Explain.
  3. Describe your favorite place to study new material. How does the environment help you focus and understand the material?
  4. Take notes of the news or other fact-based programming through television, newspaper and radio. What format do you prefer to take notes from? Why?
